The purpose of K-9 CHILD Dog Day Care is to
provide a safe, fun, and stimulating social environment for dogs
during our business hours. To
ensure the safety and health of your pet and our other guest, we
require all guests to comply with the following rules and
regulations:
SEX: All dogs 6 months or older
must be spayed or neutered to participate in the daycare program.
VACCINATIONS: All dogs must have up-to-date
vaccinations. Owners must submit written proof of Rabies, DHLPP, and
Bordetella vaccinations from their vet. Rabies is required for
puppies over 4 months of age. A flea and heartworm preventative
program is encouraged but not required, this should be discussed
with your veterinarian.
HEALTH: All
dogs must be in good health. Owners will certify their dog(s) are in
good health and have not been ill with a communicable condition in
the last 30 days (if they have, they will require veterinarian
certification of health to be admitted or readmitted). Upon
admission, all dogs must be free from any condition which could
jeopardize other guests.
BEHAVIOR: All
dogs must be non-aggressive. Owners will certify their dogs have not
harmed or shown any aggressive or threatening, behavior towards any
person or other dog. Please remember: your pet will be spending time
with other pets and the safety and health of everyone is our main
concern. Limited space available for “specialized
daycare dogs”. Dogs that do not do well in large groups, they
need only a buddy or two or only one-on-one with staff during the
day.
APPLICATION: All owners must fill out an
registration form (pet profile), and read and
sign the Daycare Client Agreement. Owners will also need to supply
written proof of vaccinations from their vet, before they can bring
their dog. Owners will need to be given and read our Policies and
Procedures and the Frequently Asked Questions papers. The first day
the dog is participating in day care, will be the dog’s screening,
to determine if Daycare is right for your dog. K-9 Child reserves
the right to refuse any dog.
FEES: Fees are based on a pass
plan. A pass is valid for 3 months from date of purchase (except a
puppy pass). Additional dogs are $12.00 per day, per dog, from the
same household.
